| The news that the post office in the shopping centre is closing is yet another blow for Hammersmith. A good proportion of my trips to King Street are made because I am going there and whilst I am there I will shop elsewhere. Isn't now the time for the government to start viewing the Post Office a key asset in binding the community together and supporting local retail trade and not as something that only exists where it can turn a profit? |
