How realistic is it to implement policies which will stop too much rainfall going into the sewage system? H&F Council has been relatively good at planting trees but elsewhere in London due to budget constraints Councils have been removing them and not replacing them. The problems with Ash trees are likely to accelerate this process. Clearly if new trees would bring the results you claim then if would be worth the cost but how many extra would you estimate would be needed in London to make a difference? |
