There is an item in the Standard today in which Hammersmith and Fulham Council 'sources' are quoted as saying that Hammermith Bridge could close for a year due to the Super Sewer works. Thames Water replied that they'd like to see the evidence the Council base their claim on otherwise it looks like scaremongering to them.

Is this anything other than the Council trying to spread misinformation to try and make an essential scheme unpopular?
