This development is now the subject of a planning application with a deadline of 13th Nov for comments:

The flats will rise 8 floors with HGV service entrance and exit on Crisp Road, where the present Studios entrance is situated. The massive rear elevation will dwarf the existing Conservation area as can be seen:

Not only is this an ugly blight on the area, but it is being treated as a forgone conclusion by the council. Anyone interested in fighting this should object very soon.
