This planning application will now go to the Mayor of London's office for his consideration. He has the final say, because the site is (1) next to the Thames and (2) over 150 flats or house ("large scale development").
Please do have a look at the application 2013/03799/FUL on the Council's website, especially the "Design and Access" statement and the elevation drawings. If you think that the proposals are a terrible waste of a magnificent site as I do, and that selling "international luxury flats" next to Hammersmith Bridge (English Heritage grade 2*) will in fact be a blight on the area (see Imperial Wharf next to Chelsea Bridge and Simon Jenkins' numerous articles in the Evening Standard about empty developments in Mayfair and Belgravia - yes, I am talking about Hammersmith property prices going in that direction!), then please write before the end of January 2014 to Boris Johnson, at Greater London Authority, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, More London, London SE1 2AA or Mayor@london.gov.uk.
